Our 2 1/2 ton 1967 Kaiser M35A2
This is our "pick-up" truck. This is how it looked when we first aquired it. It's equipped with a turbocharger, cab heater, shock seat, bows and 95% rubber. The soft top is still good.

Quick stats on the "Deuce-and-a-half"
When we first got the truck she had a cab heater, a non-whistler turbo, canvas top, a box and bench seat combination (without much shock absorbtion), ether start, fairly new tires and a new exhaust system. She needed four hours of work to be road ready the morning we picked her up. Her batteries were dead, she needed new steering knuckle boots and some air in her tires. The boots took the greatest ammount of time to replace. But we were ready for the 300 mile trip home by noontime.

At the Great Lakes DRMO
Before leaving the DRMO in Chicago we changed the front axle boots, batteries, adjusted the air pressure in the tires, checked all the fluids, fired up the engine and went home!

Nick sees "Daddy Twuk" for the first time!
Well, here she is being introduced to the entire family. Nick wanted to go see the trains(behind the photographer), not get his photo taken. Hey, he's got his priorities in life! Don't we all?

After a few changes she looks like this.
The tarp on the back was bought at a local hardware store. The headlights were flipped around. Finally we got a hard-top to eliminate the rain from seeping through the seams of the canvas top.
